Strategic partners
Infrastructure, and the routes to acquire it.
GovCore works with a small number of organizations: one providing the infrastructure the platform runs on, and two providing the contracting routes through which public-sector agencies acquire it.
Google Cloud provides the infrastructure that GovCore runs on. This covers regional data residency and the security controls that regulatory bodies require.
SHI provides contracting vehicles and procurement support for public-sector acquisition. An agency acquires GovCore through a route it already holds.
Insight provides contracting vehicles and procurement expertise for public-sector agencies. It supports acquisition within the applicable procurement rules.
Why it matters
Partnership benefits.
These arrangements bear on two practical matters for a regulatory body. The first is the route by which an agency acquires GovCore. The second is the infrastructure that the service runs on.
- Infrastructure — a cloud platform that gives the security, scalability and reliability the service needs.
- Procurement — established acquisition routes that reduce the administrative work carried by the agency.
- Compliance — acquisition within applicable procurement regulations and legislative requirements.
- Contracting — access to vehicles suited to the agency's circumstances.
